We build hortyard to be useful first: frost dates, growing zones and planting times for every U.S. town, worked out from public weather records and university guidance.

How pages are made

We draft pages with the help of AI writing tools, working from official and public sources that we list on our Sources page. Numbers, dates and facts come from those sources, not from the tool.

How pages are checked

Every page goes through automated checks before it goes live (for example, that links work and the page is built correctly). Each week a member of our team reads a sample of newly published pages and fixes what is wrong. Errors found this way also change how future pages are written.

Corrections

If you spot a mistake, write to us through the Contact page. We correct confirmed errors and update the date on the page.

What we do not do

We do not publish fake reviews, invented quotes or made-up experts.
